I teach people how to be witty: How to give listeners insights they cannot forget in words they love to repeat. (Although, for actual income, I consult in High Performance Computing.) I intend to use this blog to record my researches and speculations concerning creativity (current theory: conceptual blending), rhetoric (the tropes involving conceptual blending), and humor (involving rhetoric).
About Me

- Name: TC
- Location: Boulder, CO, United States
Thomas (TC) Christopher, is a part time writer, speaker, storyteller, poet and web entrepreneur. He offers T-shirt designs for the witty at Witty Self-Expression. Currently he is developing a series of (so far well-received) ebooks, webinars, and workshops on public speaking style and humor, including: Creating Memorable Speeches, Humorous Plays on Words, and Easy Humor. He was a professor of computer science for 20 years at Illinois Institute of Technology before resigning to write books full time. In spare moments, he is a contra dancer and choreographer, a member of Toastmasters - holding an ATM-G, their highest speaking rank - and a Gentleman (someone who pursues no occupation or profession for money).
